Care Companion is strictly an online platform that connects families and caregivers so they can meet, message, and decide whether they are a good fit before arranging anything offline. Every caregiver and family creates a profile, shares availability and services, and uses the built-in messaging tools to chat, ask questions, and confirm compatibility — all inside the site.

After you sign up and complete the two quick profile steps, your profile will appear on the Profile Setup page where it can be reviewed and edited. Use the Save & Publish control when you are ready for your profile to be discoverable by others; once published the site removes that specific button to help prevent accidental republishing — you can still edit any tile through the edit profile flow and saved edits update immediately and persist across pages.

Safety tip: we encourage users to verify references, use the platform’s messaging before sharing personal contact details, and arrange any in-person meetings in public places. Care Companion facilitates introductions and communication but does not mediate in-person meetings — families and caregivers coordinate those directly.
