By accessing or using Care Companion, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and any policies we reference.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. If under 18 you must have parental permission where applicable.

3. Accounts & profiles

Users create accounts to post requests, offer caregiving, message other users and manage bookings. Keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.

  • Provide accurate information — misleading or fraudulent profiles may be removed.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
4. Our services

Care Companion connects families and caregivers. We facilitate introductions, messaging and optional payments but are not the employer of caregivers unless explicitly stated.

5. Payments & cancellations

Payments, cancellations and refunds are governed by the payment flow you choose and any agreements you make with another user. We recommend keeping payment and cancellation agreements in writing via the platform messages.

6. Prohibited conduct
  • No harassment, discrimination, or illegal activity.
  • No impersonation, false claims or fraudulent behavior.
  • No misuse of personal data or attempts to circumvent security.
7. Liability & disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Care Companion provides the platform “as is”. We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of users. Our total liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

8. Dispute resolution

9. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated to registered users and posted here with an effective date.
